Membership Process

Once you have met the Minimum Requirements, the process of becoming a member has two phase, "Prospect" and "Probate".

Prospect:

During the Prospect phase and individual will go on runs and attend meetings with the club as a guest. This gives the prospect a chance to evaluate his desire to belong to this brotherhood and the club members to evaluate his basic personality and compatibility. If a Prospect expresses a desire to become a member of the USMVMC, and they are sponsored by a Full Patch Member, their request will be discussed and brought to a vote amongst the members. If there is a consensus amongst the Full Patch Members, then the "Prospect" becomes a Probationary Member (Probate) and receives the club "Rocker".

Probate:

The Probate phase is longer and gives the probate the opportunity to learn the proper conduct of a member in an MC. The Probate will fulfill any club related duties as needed by the President and other club officers. During the probate period, all Full Patch Members have the opportunity to thoroughly evaluate the Probate as an individual they would be proud to address, and depend upon, as a Brother. The Probate is assigned to a Full Patch Member (Sponsor), and is under the direct supervision of an experienced Full Patch Member whenever they wear the club "Rocker".

If the Probate successfully completes their probate period, the Probate then receives their Patch (USMVMC Eagle Center Patch). At this time, the Probate becomes a Full Patch Member status, and is welcomed as a Brother into the USMVMC.

Full Patch Member:

Once achieving full patch status, the individual will become a Brother in the U.S. Military Vets MC... a continuation of the brotherhood we all experienced when we wore the uniform.
